Terms & Conditions

A 50% booking fee is required to secure booking. The balance to be paid in full a week before the date of the event. Cancelation will result in loss of deposit. Change of date can be arranged if available, no refunds accepted.

COVID-19 Restrictions:  It is responsibility of the event’s organiser to comply with NSW Public Heath Order at the time of the event. We are a COVID safe business, by paying our invoice you accept our COVID Safety Plan.

A $200 bond is required for breakage, missing styling items and extra cleaning charges. Bond will be refund within 5 working days after the events if all hired items are returned and in good working order and no extra cleaning is required. Damaged and missing items must be paid by the hirer.

*Location of picnic must be at ground level, within practical access to/from a car park for loading/ unloading purposes. Beaches away from car park or areas with difficult access may a delivery fee.

Please allow 1-2 hrs to set up at the beginning and to pack down at the end of the event.

Delivery/ set up and pack down on the same day of the event. Time to pack down and pick up to be agreed before date of the event considering safety, noise and visibility. Unfortunately, overnight and late at night pack down is not available.

In the case the weather forecast predicts inclement weather, tables, rugs, cushions, chairs and non-waterproof styling items will not be set up outdoors. It is the responsibility of the hirer to plan an indoor location. Please prepare a wet weather plan or consider change of date if available. Cancelation due to wet weather is not refundable. Change of location or date due to weather to be advised at least 24 prior to the event.

Picnic Styling items are not waterproof, not to be used after swimming or wearing wet swimmers or wet clothes. Candles, fire of any kind or heating sources are not to be used with the equipment.

Overall safety must be considered at extreme windy conditions and event to be moved to a protected area if styling items cannot stand the forces of the wind. Beach umbrellas cannot be set up in windy conditions due to overall safety.

Items should not be moved after been assembled. Incorrect use of hired items is at hirer’s own risk. Boho Bay is not responsible for overall safety of guests or guest’s safety access to location where the hirer/ event’s organizer instructs Boho Bay to set up.

Permits to use public areas is not included, it is the responsibility of the event’s organizer. Please ring the Council to check if you need a permit

Compliance with public areas and/or holiday houses rules, including consumption of alcohol and noise restrictions is responsibility of the event’s organizer.

At public areas the event’s organizer is responsible for not leaving hired items unattended until Boho Bay arrives to pack down at agreed pack down time.

Boho Bay cannot accept any responsibility for any produce supplied by catering company.

Drinks are not included. Boho Bay is not licensed to serve alcohol and are not responsible for the consumption of alcohol at your event. Licensed serving of Alcohol can be organised upon request.

 **Clean-up of general rubbish, leftover food, drinks, bottles or any items not included in the hire list must be done and removed by the hirer. Cleaning of non-hired items left behind by the event’s organiser may incur $50 fee, to be discounted from security bond.

Boho Bay has full liability insurance, excluding fire and heating generating items.

Please inform Boho Bay in advance if you do not wish your photos/ videos on social media. We do love to post and share our beautiful styling.
